Control Arm Drop Brackets? Yes / No?
I have the AEV brackets and like others have posted I noticed immediately the difference in the steering and the ride softened a bit as well as my frame was absorbing most of the front hits as opposed to the springs and shocks doing their thing. I still wheel some rocks and they have yet to get hung up or keep me from doing anything.

SO I just had the TF 2.5 coil lift installed, Jeep feels good (after I re-installed the rear lower bump stops), but the steering is okay, feels kinda loose, delayed. So as many of us do I am reading the threads and I find one that discussed drop brackets for the front control arms and how it greatly improved the driveability. AEV and Rancho were to brands that were mentioned, is this something that I should consider? The Jeep is my DD and it's good when I'm driving 0-45ish, but it gets slightly "flighty"? the faster I go. I was also considering adding the TF Steering stabilizer. I am currently running 34's? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I also must mention that the ride quality is better than stock.
and I lifted it by myself.
with no help
and no power tools.

Really? Aev brackets rule. Now if you are a trust fund baby, lottery winner, or shark that has made a fortune by taking advantage of other ppl and and you have $70,000 for a new jeep, a hemi conversion, Dana 60s, and are going to destroy your jeep rock crawling to show how badass you are then aev brackets may not be for you. But if you are just a regular working person that actually needs a jeep to get to work or where ever you want/need to go then get the ****ing brackets. The jeep seems just like stock but taller.

After two years with the brackets and recently switched to lower adjustable control arms I'll say the ride is a bit smoother with the brackets. I'll stick with the arms though. I always thought the brackets looked stupid. Call me superficial if you want.
It would be fine to run adjustables as well if that is what you wanted to do though.

Way back when, before the brackets came out, (when it was still common to buy a single set of control arms to adjust the caster/pinion), some that bought only the uppers found that upper arms from certain mfg's could not adjust short enough to get the caster where they wanted it. I don't know if you could run into that same situation with brackets, but it may be worth checking.
