How much lift do you have?

I'd advise against a drop pitman and go high
steer. But I think you need at least 3"+ of lift.

Lot of folks have bushing issues with teraflex bushings so I'd stay away.

Check out JKS they use OE rubber bushings from Clevite and manufacture in the U.S.A. Other companies use crown rubber bushings unless they purchase the Clevite ones from JKS due to their exclusive sales license. That's how it was last time I checked.

for the AEV high steer kit, Jim, AEV Engineer, says this:

"The High Steer kit must be used with a minimum of 3.0" of bumpstop spacing (not cheesy longer urethane bumpers! They just crumble and fall out if you really hit them!). This much spacing is a must to avoid steering-frame contact that could cause damage and/or a loss of control. So for the Tera 2.5" lift, it depends on how much spacing they provided, and if it's not enough you'd have to add some...the trick with that is if it's really only 2.5" of actual lift, adding 3" of BSS will leave you with very little uptravel and you will hate the constant bottoming out..."

If you have 3" of lift, make sure you have the proper amount of bumpstop spacers too. Ultimately the amount of lift doesn't matter much with the AEV; however, if you don't have enough lift, you will end up hitting the bumpstops often because you will have little to no upward travel. This is why they say you need at least 3" of lift and 3" of bump stops.
