That's a question I'd like to know the answer to as well. One of the things I realized (not totally related) was that to fit the Clayton CA's you need to do a little cutting on the original mounts so it makes sesne to do that (and at least test fit the new CA's before welding the skids.

Whether the skids are better welded with the CA's removed (which reduces the chance of cooking the bushings) or whether you should have them all torqued up

Do you disconnect the lower control arm before welding, or are the rubber bushings safe from burning/melting?

Thank google for me resurrecting this ancient thread

Fronts can be done with the arms in place just cool Ema Dan don't run a long bead it'll smoke bushings.
Rears I'd disconnect the shock and arm because of the overlapping proximity of where you will be welding.
Do 1 at a time (disconnect) and then to the next in rear.
It is super simple a installer can do either easily....evo has made it idiot proof so as synergy

artec industries. I ordered my axle armor through them. looks freakin mean, DEFF strong, came with gussets and control arm skids for around 250ish all together. im not dispointed and hold no regret...minus the fact that I wish I could have welded them on myself...
