Default Control Arms

What's the difference between long and short control arms. What are the benefits of long over short?

More flex with a long arm.

Maybe, the shocks will generally limit droop and bump stops compression. Unless we're talking about big lifts (4"+), I'd stick with stock arm mounting points. I've seen several guys get hung up due to the lower arm brackets on their long arm kits. My Metal Cloak kit flexes like crazy.

long arm also will ride better on the street due to the mounting brackets and longer arms being more parallel to the ground. not necessarily more flex but yeah in the end youll have less bind in them
