I will look into both arms and brackets before I make a purchase. I'm hoping I wont have to make too much correction to get things dialed in. The springs say 3.5 inches so im assuming with my bumpers, winch and hard top it might be closer to 3.25 inches. If needed i will purchase the other arms to make it work.
Thanks for all the input guys

I installed teraflex lower front control arms after doing their 2" spacer lift. I noticed an immediate improvement in the overall drivability of my jeep. That was my last jeep, this one is going with the same setup again, but with falcon shocks. I would say go for the control arms over the geo brackets for clearance.

I know people worry about geo brackets and ground clearance but I have done most of the tougher trials in Moab including Golden Spike, Rose garden hill, Potato salad hill and behind the rocks and never have had the paint scratched off. I was worried about them and two guys I did the Rubicon trail with had them and one was in a 2.5" AEV lift 4 door the other with 3.5 AEV lift and neither had any issues that kind of sold me. The guy in the 4 door had no offroad experience so did not always take the best lines and he did fine. The next year we did the Dusy Ershim and again he had no issues.

I generally agree. I think people do at least need to realize you lose some clearance, but it's not like loosing 3" of clearance at the diff! I think they do get scrapped around a bit, but I'm not certain I've ever seen someone not make it through an obstacle that they otherwise would have....ie, they aren't the difference-maker. For the majority, they sure are the better option considering the improved angle the arms sit at vs. adjustable. I think a big stumbling block is often they don't sound as cool as having adjustable arms.....more of a bandaid than the proper method, but that's not really the case. Sometimes adjustable arms make more sense, sometimes control arm brackets make more sense. There is not a single time that cam bolts makes sense IMO, and I've never really understood why someone would want to spend money on fixed length arms.

yet that is what I have on my current rig LOL. I have had adjustable, geo brackets and fixed and all 3 have corrected my caster. On this build I knew I was not going to be all jacked up and am not going any taller than the mopar 2" lift and fixed TF sport arms are cheap, well made and give me near perfect caster at 5.4*. So many choices and all can be right choices. I actually know hard core guys that use cam bolts but I agree I would not use them, but the guys that use them say keep them torqued and they are fine.
