Lume=Lighter Green like a green banana= Mopar's Sarge is painted this color.
It is already Flame Red and Black!!!! I am tired of red, an also fixing shabby body work done by insurace company. I want to have the Jeep one color not two shades or even three shades as it is now. Also the paint keeps chipping of, so i hate seeing bare metal.
I would love to use a the real CARC paint on the jeep. I dont not have a connection to shot it or the equipment. So i will have to use auto grade paint, or milspec. Tomorrow I am going to do a little paint sprays at work. I work at an army surpluss store. So I can get shaker cans and do some testing on scrap metal.
Just to say, I am not going to use the Lume. It is too baby sh!t green. Haha I just sprayed some wood and and a old light form a M-38.
Plan as of the moment:
Test spray some samples.
Then decied on a color
Strip and clean jeep. Lots of photos will be taken
Spray it.
Import a UK front rebar.
Get a set of shackles
Rubi rails
Paint my wheels black.

You should go all out and do a conversion to this!! maybe keep the rails and bumpers black...
but to answer your question... I like this color the best!

Bad ass looking windshield, Bad ass gun sticking out front of windshield. Sweet roll cage surrounding Jeep. Nice color. Then you have Cooper Mini tires on it!! I mean come on people!!! I know you noticed this when you were building it. 'Well, couldn't find any tires and my daughters Barbie power wheels was sitting there, and the rest is history..." WTF!!!

Haha, while the sarge is a J8, its not a base J8. The guys at skunk works built it with the mopar goodies. I would like to have a 2dr lwb. I don`t have the money to do this. The conversion is being done on a budget. If all goes to plan. I will have less then 300 in the paint. the bumper should be less the 100 shipped. I will keep the tow hooks for now till i find the J8 shackles. the rear bumper will be custom or no bumper. I will be leaveing all creature comforts. Also this is my daily driver so this work will be done in stages. Bumpers and rails will be black.

Ok, got some time to shoot some paint from cans. O.D. went on good looked like an ammo can. Tan shoot good too. the O.D. was truely flat haha. There was little shine, I was hopen for more of a gloss to it. I am going to look over my paint codes, an see if there is one with a little more shine. Tan on the other hand was not as smooth. It had more of a powder texture. I will say if i was lay it in sand it would look like it was painted with sand. I would like a little gloss to the paint. The good part about the paint, is they will be easier to keep up.
