What did you do to the plug? Did you cut it off? I do not want to have a short circuits like I did in last sway bar that was swapped in warranty.
Thank you.

I haven't done anything with the plug, as the electronic sway bar has not failed yet.

I'm confused. If you put in a manual override it should enable you to engage and disengage at will. Does removing the electrical connection throw any lights on your dash, like BAS or ESC?

I've run my e-disconnect for 4 years without failure and I wheel mine more than most people. however, I have manual disconnects on my e-swaybar because I cannot stand the 18mph re-engagement.

I'd like to see finished pics and how it works, as well as how everything else works for ya. Good luck!

A ProCal will keep the e-disco light off after I do the conversion. No other lights will come on due to the conversion.

I will certainly post pics of the installation when I do it.

Can you provide a source for the cable. I realize it's just a simple cable, just saying

Aircraft Spruce has them. It's a push-pull throttle cable.

Awesome! I recently got a Rubicon sway bar for my Sahara and was evaluating whether connect it electrically or using that mechanical disconnect that replaces the motor. This is a much better solution than both. Thanks for sharing.

I could not see any link to the movie on your second post, at least on my phone app. Is it possible to send the URL?
