Cooper Discoverer SST
I don't know where other's are looking, but as far as pricing goes...The Cooper STT's are significantly less than almost all M/T''s that I scouted out. I looked at Mickey Thompson MTZ, Toyo MT, ProComp Extreme MT, Goodyear MT/R and BFG KM2's and STT's were over a 100$ less for each tire than all of those. And they look aggressive, if not more than most of those and still preform just as well!! This forum is great, I was in the same boat as you and everyone here that had them talked me into them

nicey! thanks for more info on these tires!
Sorry took me a while to get back to you. I have no idea what i was saying at the end. I think i was in the middle of doing things at work and not thinking. Anyhow yes i would say for the money STT's are a good tire. I think most of my problem in the comparison i have was i went from a 33 12.5 to a 33 13.5. The added width on the STT's didn't help with snow and ice traction to much.
These are a great tire. I had 35's on my 05 Rubicon and now 37's on my 09 Rubicon. No complaints. And the Price wow!! I got my 37's for $250 each. Great for on road also as they are very quiet for a mud terrrain!! Just my 2 cents!!!
Right now Procomp tires are on sale, I bet you won't have any complaints about them either and 4 for the price of 3 is a good deal.
If you only go offroad a little and hte trails are not that extreme I woould not pay the extra money for better sidewalls. I am a frim believer in buying the tires for the need you have....so be honest with yourself. The money you save could be spent on other things (hopefully for the jeep).
