The welds are, indeed, perfect. When I had my front Ultra powder coated, one of the guys from the shop next door was amazed by them, and called all his colleagues over to look at them. Apparently, CC sends their stuff out cleaner and more free of slag and dust than a few others, too.

I have the Ultra mid-width front with skid and the Ultra full width rear. I epoxy primed and Line-Xed them. Came out perfect! Absolutely love them. Fit and finish was spot on too.

How well does the skid serve for your license plate? I'll be ordering one in a few weeks, and I'm hoping to mount mine there, too.

I was dreading mounting my plate on my bumper but found the perfect spot on the skid. I drilled mounting holes before I Line-Xed it. It keeps it legal while not noticing it all that much. I've been inspected with it there too. No problem

Does anyone have a side view of the Ultra series stinger bumper? Not many pictures come up with a google search.

Could you possibly post a side view of your bumper?

Here you go. I was a little concerned when I ordered it that it might be one of those stingers that sticks out too far. I was very happy with the bumper. Great protection without being obnoxious.

I'm running CC skinny front and rear, CC body mount carrier, and their fenders. The welds are so nice I didn't even want to powder coat them. For what it's worth the guy that did my powdercoating said he's seen all kinds of bumpers thru his shop and CC was some of the nicest he had seen. I'm pretty happy with how they came out.
