Default Cruise control with 35's and 4.10's ??

So I've been running the set up in my sig for about 6 months now with no complaints on or off the highway. But, in a couple months I'm planning a 500+ mile road trip and was thinking of forking out the cash for cruise control so I can keep the leg cramps at bay.

My question is, will the cruise control hold me at 65 or 70 mph?? I've never had cruise before (previous vehicle was an 85 CJ 7 lol), so not real sure how it works with the computer and the extra load... Thanks in advance for the help!

Just because we're now #1 for party schools, along with everything else, doesn't mean ya have to be jealous

Down here the speed limit is 70 with the average speed at around 80... In my old jeep the fastest i could go was 60, and that scared the heck out of me lol, never again.

Thanks for the input though, I'm in no hurry to get to 70, just so long as I can hang there.

I run a similar set up and it does fine at 70 w/ OD off, even pulling a camper. If I am unloaded and on fairly level ground I can run 70 easily using OD.

I have 37s and 4.10s and my CC works great unless there is a hill and then it'll surge on and off to maintain a +/- 10 MPH range.

I can CC at 80 MPH with no problems on fairly level highways
