Default Currently installing lift - solo - little bits o' advice?

I'm currently (tonight/tomorrow) installing the TF 2.5" coil lift w/ shock adapters, Currie front LCAs and JKS front trackbar.

First question of the night...
For the meantime I will be running stock 18's after the lift...I don't have any wheel spacers. Dave from Northridge said to leave the stock sway bar links in, but the lift calls for moving the rears to the front and installing the new rear sway bar links from the kit.

Isn't there another "trick" of mounting the sway bar links inside "X" bracket or whatnot...help a fella out?

If you are running a wider tire on the stock rims you will require the wheel spacers, if you are running the stock wheel and stock tires you will be fine installing the lift as per the instructions (moving the sway bar links back to front)

Flipping the rear sway link mounting from the outside in to the inside out will only net ~ 1/4" clearance...not enough to to trust.

Go with Dave's advice for now and get some spacers or wheels.

So with stock rims AND stock tires I should be good to go with the kit as-is? (Rear sway bar links moved to front and "kit" sway bar links on rear)

I could have sworn Teraflex had a note somewhere saying to use wheel spacers if you were running the stock wheels...

Bottom line is that I'm doing the lift install now and don't have wheel spacers...need best way to "make it work" until I get the new wheels/tires in

On that note...where the hell can I find 5 ATX Predator 17x8.5 wheels in the black/teflon coating...I know they're discontinued, but I had my mind set on that wheel...I've searched high and low...to no avail

you should be ok. i installed another lift myself & it had the same thing.... move the rear sway bar links to the front... and i put my stock wheels & tires back on without any issues. you should only need a spacer if you are puttin larger tires on your stock wheels.

I'm sure you did read it, but I think what Teraflex is getting at is, if you plan on running bigger tires with stock wheels, you will need spacers.

I ran the same kit with stock wheels/tires for 2 winters with no problems installed as per intructions. If you saw something about wheel spacers i'm guessing it had alot to do with 33 or larger because they tend to be a wider tire.
