Ok I have given up on rear half doors. And after seeing the JT at Camp Jeep and the J8 from Moab, I am ready to go custom. Any one know of a shop that has converted the Unlimited to a TWO door?

My plan is to use a p/u bed panel and do away with rear storage tub, a Honda Ridgeline type bed trunk where the floor kicks down for the rear seat and instal a TJ rear seat. And a whole lot of unanswered top questions. But liked the cargo top on the J8 and have seen nice stuff from Gr8tops. Any sugestions ? Feel free to input??

Remember the most important part of doing a mod like this is PICTURES... I'm thinking of doing the same thing after seing those J8 pictures.. I'm about to buy another jk and have my eye on a 4dr. Was going to give it to the wife when the 09's came out but,, converting it to a jt is more appealing to me..

Could you use a 4 dr. soft top without windows in as sort of a temporary, summer top/canopy?

 

Sure, I had a Safari top/Jammer/duster on my LJ.

 

I know there are a lot of people interested in this concept hope fully some one sees the potential and makes some thing happen!

 

OR....you could just go to Egypt and buy the durn thing.

well he bed can be preety easy to do just have the guts to do it.

on the cab issue you can go with a 2 door wrap arround wind jammer and bikini top It might fit the 4 door once you eliminate the rear door.

I thought about this also before but thinking im going to do it when im bored of my jk like in 5 years or so. if I still have it offcourse
