Thanks for the link, it's been a while since I have read the write ups. Even without the pics that one gives good detail about welding the plastic together After reading that one, I'm curious how the rear stubby looked. EDIT> Thanks davebloomer, now I know what it looks like.

Does anybody now if this would affect your insurance if you got into a car accident?

I really doubt it. In Maryland state law requires that you only have the Frame Rails Covered

I went out got a dremel tool and cleaned the sides up
