Dont be afraid to chop. My bfh with trail stinger is coming in the mail monday, cant wait. Inspect a home, did you just flat black it or is that bed liner? Im going to bed line mine to match my rocker skins. I hate how much dirt it holds though. I like how you blacked out the mounting bolts too. What would you say this thing weighs?

Self etching prime first, then sanded that with a fine paper, then rattle canned flat black...I know its cheap but soo easy to touch up.

The bumper weighs 43 lbs, but the stock mounts and crossmember that you remove weighs like 12-14 lbs. This equals a very light front end!

Nice man, nothing wrong going that route. That way you wont be pissed you just scratched that $150 paint job. Just pull out a can and touch it up. Thanks for the info, cant wait to cut off that crash bar. Reminds me of 2 buck teeth.

It's just steel!!! Ill be going with the basic BFH without stinger.
The BFH weighs almost the same as the stock bumper, take off an extra 10-12lb for all the steel you chop, and you've actually cut weight.
I figure adding a winch will only put about an extra 50lbs on my front end.

You could always buy the BFH with stinger, and if you dot like it, sell it and buy the BFH without stinger.
