Default Nice setup

I like the setup. I wonder if the crush cans and plastic cover are really needed to avoid unnecesary activations of the air bags.

Crush cans and plastic have nothing to do with air bag activation.... You can make the change and your airbags will still work fine.

The D-ring setup on the inner bumper doesn't really look like a sturdy pull-point. I've seen the back side of the bumper and wasn't really impressed with the metal.

but if the stock tow hooks work then shouldnt d-rings?

From the photo, it looks like they used the same bolts that the hooks used. So, I'd say why not?
