Default d30 aussie locker questions

I have been looking at the Aussie locker for my front d30. It seems like a good purchase for the price. My question is how well will it work for easier trails like fire roads at higher speeds? How is the turning radius in 4 high? Thanks.

If this a dd, then i would not put one in. I had one in the rear of my 95 bronco, and let tourqe build up go wih a BANG! Allways sounded like i broke something. Friend had same issue. Unlesd you have selectable hubs up front i would not. Get a trutrac or selectable locker up front. My .02

I can see how having an auto locker in the rear would be a big problem.

I have one on mine (08 JKU 4" RK lift. 4.88's with 35's soon to be 37's) and love it. You just need to know it's there and drive accordingly.. easy with full lock turns (light throttle)...etc
I DD it and also do long road trips with it.
