Any thoughts on rear axles? I see that one brand uses 4140 chromoly and another uses 4340 chromoly. Anyone know the difference?

4340 is the better axle. Try and find a good domestic shaft like Superior's Evo Series or from Dutchman. The import shafts are prone to very spotty quality.
