Must say, fits me like a glove and I love that car! It's just a really big payment when I drive the jeep as much as I do. The car has really turned into a commuter good mpg vehicle. My spare time is spent driving the jeep.)

The 2013 is interesting but.... I'm struggling to justify the value. The only other consideration is going to an unlimited...
It might also be good to get into a local jeep club. Go wheelin with some guys and see how their rigs perform. If somebody easily makes it over an obstacle that you had trouble with, you can find out what mods/setup made a difference for them.

I know somebody with 2 door on 33's and she rocks the shit out of it, since you already have money into yours and have parts on you can not take off, keep it and look for your next step. Exhaust, better intake and look into a Trail Dash. You know you could always supercharge her...

Thoughts?
I think you should keep both. The extra $ on insurance will be saved by your gas. I drive my Jeep daily 20 miles each way. I love it, but wish I would have saved my Nissan. The extra $25 a month in insurance would have been worth it. Also, should you damage your Jeep, you'll have the extra car while its getting repaired.

The issue is I have payments on both. The Acura is lets say sizable! (Over $500) That's a ton of cash that essential is sitting in the driveway
Every day one way or another. The original
Intent of the jeep was a toy. Just like someone else might have a boat. But I did that the only time I'm driving the car is for work and when I'm taking the family and want better gas milage than the jeep or our Honda pilot.

Over all fuel cost will of course go up I I do the Acura but the savings of the payment will be huge!

Keep the comments coming this is a very tough decision for me.

Had a similar debate when I owned a full size truck. The JKU made it an easy choice. Your situation is a little different. But on the 2013 issue. I had a 2010 JKUR that I recently traded in on a 2013 JKUR and as mentioned the creature comfort improvements along with the new engine are leaps and bounds above what I had. I've driven the new JKUR from North Carolina to southern Alabama twice now and as a DD I love it. I have the room for junk and when the urge hits me I can veer off the beaten path for entertainment all the while having my bum warmed with the heated seats. Not to shabby for a Jeep. And considering I started out in the Jeep realm with a '53 Willys there's just no comparison. Added beni, my wife likes it better than any vehicle we've ever owned (and that has been A LOT) so no push back with the mods.
