Default Daves Rack

For anyone interested I email Olympic to ask them when they might be making a 4X4 Generation II "Daves Rack" for the four door JK.
I like this one because of it going from a roof rack to a sunshade.

We plan on making it and will start on the prototype soon should have it done and tested in time for spring of 08

Dude - I LOVE that thing. It would be even cooler if it came with detachable sides and a detachable floor to use as a tent.

Have any of you seen this rack in person? Before you get all excited, you really should if you can as I think you may have a different opinion of them one you do. Certainly, I have and I would never put one on my JK.

By comparison to something like a Kargo Master or a Garvin, the Dave's rack seemed rickety and flimsy - not solid at all. Also, the ones I've seen in person had poor finishes. Ultimately, it's a neat idea but that's about it. But like I said, you don't need to take my word for it, just compare it in person to a something like the Kargo Master or Garvin and you will see what I am talking about.
