so alignment should fix that? they must not know what they are doing at my dealership

 

If your steering wheel is off by enough to come in contact like that then you should be getting a code on the dash with some lights to let you know you've got a problem. Additionally you should notice you can turn the wheel further one way than the other.

Was it just me or did the sway bar links look a little short there by causing the interference? sway bar is ideally horizontal + or - 5 degrees

 

I checked and it turns left more than it can turn right. So I better bring it back to the dealership and have them align it again. Idiots
