Default Daystar switch panel and 6-speed

Just looking for some feedback on the daystar switch panel. Does the 6-speed interfere with the switches at all? Are they easy to access?

Thx in advance. I'm using the IPF switches now but would like to change it up v

The Daystar panel and the 6-speed are a bad mix. The shift boot interferes with the switches.

There's a few switch panels online, one above and center of the console and another on the door frame by the windshield, but I'm pretty sure cooltech stopped making panels or they went out of business or something

Definitely not a good idea. The boot interferes withe the switches and the switches interfere with shifting. I cut out the header and installed the switch panel up above the rearview mirror. There are several write ups on that mod.

Good luck

The Daystar switch panel is a bad idea for all 4wd JK's 6speed or Automatic. Despite the cool factory look if you have all four switches in place you 4wd shifter will hit the far most left switch. I'm changing over to the RKC top mount gauge and switch pod. Possibly the RR Pillar mount switch pod.

I have the daystar switch panel with all four switches and the boot doesn't touch the switches even when in first or third. And the 4x4 lever is nowhere near touching it. I like it. I'd recommend it.

So what you're saying is you can wrap your hand all the way around the 4wd shift knob and go from 2wd to 4wd high without hitting the switches? I'd like to see pictures of that. my knob actually hits the left switch. I'll post pics shortley.
