I plan on switching to the s.P.o.d (it kept editing it) later and ditch the daystar panel

Interesting.

I was looking at the pillar switch pod. Didn't see the write-up for putting it above the rear view mirror. That actually sounds like a brilliant idea. Very easy access and visibility.

Was it a daystar that mounted up top?

The Daystar and my 6 speed did not mix. If someone wants it they can have my Daystar panel. PM me if you want it.

Default Meh

Unless you are completely against drilling holes in your jeep just mount them somewhere else.

KC Windshield mount Slimlite switch

ARB under hood mount compressor

This opens up many possibilities and the price is attractive right around the $00.00 price point. However if your not into putting holes in your jeep it's not greatest.

I don't mind putting some holes in. I will be up to 3 switches now (once I add my ARB compressor) so the switch panel kinda made sense them they can share a common power amongst them too.

I had this problem in Moab. Shifting into 1st gear the shift boot would hit my locker switches and turn them off. I was going to change out the switches to a flatter switch and WOLette told me to just push the shift boot down to clear the switches and put a wire tie on to hold it in place. Gotta love a simple solution.

Yeah a simple fix is always nice.

I've seen some pics where they remove the factory rubber boot from the shifter and put a leatherish one on in place that does stick out as far. That would probably be an easy fix too.

Can someone post a link of the switch panel install above the rear view mirror. Would like to see that.
