When i had my HID's in i loved them too. They were super bright and lite up the road like crazy. However, its annoying to get brighted by every other vehicle on the road. I constantly got brighted because of the light scatter. I found a set of David Stern's Cibies and while the bulbs i have in there now aren't as bright as the HID's, they defenitly have more usable light and don't blind oncomming traffic. I may go to some brighter bulbs to get more light. I wasn't opposed to HID's untill i ran them and saw what they did. So if you drive where there isn't alot of traffic then you'll love them. IF you live where there is alot of traffic, get ready to be brighted alot.

I had them too but inside Hella H4 housings which have a better cutoff than the stock lamps. but it still spilled too much light up blinding people. So I just took them out and went with Halogens. It didn't seem like they did at first because the cutoff was so well defined, but they definitely do.

But, if you like them, keep them. But unless you have projectors you are blinding people whether they flash you or not. Its not possible for the car in front of you to flash you, and maybe its only them they you are blinding.

HID bulbs are made for a projector, not a reflector. A projector for a car is very much like the lens on an old movie projector. The lens shapes the light, not a reflector that allows the light to scatter. stop and look at the small HID lights on a BMW, Mercedes, Range Rover, etc.
Use HID conversion for off-road, not on the road. It should be legal to shoot people with HID conversions that blind everyone else.

I honestly Hate getting blinded with hids. They ticket people for not having them in a projector. I'm actually glad because that shit is not safe for other drivers. If your going to do, do it right.
