A tiny drop of RED rustolium maybe?

Don't like it.. don't do it..!!

and do they really have a replacement part that is better than one on a JK built in March of 07??
I got my info about the replacement part with new # off this very forum... and my dealership confirmed that it was a different part number, just like I suggested to them... but, until I physically have it in my hands, I won't know for certain...

So let us know when you get it in... and we can see how much differant it is from the ones we have now.. Mine don't pop off anyhow.. so I can wait to do the mod later. Supposing the Stealership will change them out..

It would be sweet if someone came up with a billet aluminum replacement set that slid on. It would probably take a rubber mallet to get 'em off then.

Mine popped off until my softtop stretched a little. It seems like the plastic flexes just enough to lose its grip on the metal channel it slides into. A metal replacement would not flex and stay put.

Mine are fine, no poppage.

I do have an extra set at home in the factory bags, I will try to remember to look at them and see if they really are different than the originals.

When my dealer ordered my new redesigned part, it came in the next day. No more problems with it. I'd seriously reconsider doing business with those folks.
