Default death wobble....

well i hate to bring this up again, but i cant get rid of my death wobble, first of all im running a 2.5" pro comp comfort ride suspension and i added a daystar 3/4" space on top of each coil for a total of 3 1/4" lift, well ive had the lift on for a year without any problems at all, im using 34" super swamper ltbs, which have always had a not to great ride, but they are tolerable. well one day as im driving off road in our ranch, i hit a big bump and after that the jeep started driving funny, when i got home i noticed that the steering stabilizer was all busted cause it was leaking, so i decided to put the original stabilizer back on meanwhile i ordered another pro comp one. but then i started to experience death wobble, very bad shaking and loss of control. so i went and had my tired balanced and the jeep aligned and still no change, it keeps getting death wobble when i hit a bump at any speed over 25mph. i have checked my jks front track bar and all seems fine, nothing is loose, all the ball joints look good too, as long as im going under 25, the jeep runs fine, but as soon as i hit a bump it goes wacky, so i switched out my 34" swampers and i put on some stock rims and tires in the front and took it out for a spin, it runs perfect, no death wobble, no matter what bumps i hit or what speed i go, so here comes my question, i checked the alignment with a measuring tape and i see the the jeep is toe in about 3/4" , meaning is more closed up in the front that in the back, should i adjust this OUT? could this possible be causing my death wobble? any help would be greatly appreciated

it's crazy how little of a thing and how many things can cause it.

things i have done that have fixed my own or someone's DW:
ball joints (no noticable need to change, just old)
steeing TRE's (no noticable need to change but old)
removed steering stabalizer
new tires
ballance tiers
swap tires front to rear
added toe
corrected caster

things i've heard have fixed DW:
new steering stabalizer
tighten track bar bolts
tighten LCA/UCA bolts
toe out (still tow in, but less)
new shocks
add 2nd steering stabilizer
new sway bar links (disco's to stock-like)
drive faster
drive slower
don't drive the speed that i happens at
changed u-joints in front axle shafts
changed front drive shaft u-joints
new wheels (no longer bent)
track bar drop/relocation brackets
putting track bar from drop/relocation bracket to stock
adding adjustable track bar with poly ends

i know there are more ... but it's time to clock out and i'm going home. best thing you can do is not get pissy with it, it happens to everyone at some point if you are going ot drive a modified vehicle that you take offroad. if you learn to drive with it, there is a learning curve, but just how you drive can influance how often it happens. braking and gas at different times changes how it acts, sometimes ya drive thru it to a higher speed, sometimes you can't.

good luck bro!

Try toeing out, I actually gave my jeep DW by too much adjusting toe in. Play with it abit, let us know your results. I think alot of dw issues are because of toe( provided they've checvked everything else) it'll change with the tires you run. I know this by experience, not saying it's always true, just my opinion and whats happened to me.

i am definitely going to toe out when i get home and see what happens, i already ordered the rough country dual stabilizer kit to help me out too, it comes in next week, id like to solve the dw and then install the stabilizer kit, i wonder if it would be too much to actually leave the stock stabilizer in place and install the duals also???

Uh, really no need to do that, if you need 3 stabilizers, something is drastically wrong. They did have a member on here do that, dunno why, shouldn't hurt anything, but may mask other probs that may arise. Toe out, will probably help your probs.
