Default Death Wobble

I have an 08 X 2door. I have retorqed everything under it, put a new taraflex steering shock and still have'nt fixed my wobble. And the worse thing is I'm running 29 in dayton timberlines. I can only imagine what would happen if I put bigger tires on this thing. Can yall give me anymore ideals of stuff to look for?

I think one of the most overlooked problems is tires. Everytime I have had DW, it has been d/t either crappy balancing by 4WP or tires chunking and then being out of balance.

Of course, make sure everything is tight up front. You really shouldn't be having those problems with 29's. My bet would be it's the tires.

The paint started coming off of my rims about 10'000 miles back and the dealer replaced them. But they told me to only have the inside of the tire balanced. They said that putting weights on the outside would cause them to start chiping again. This problem has just come up within the last month and my jeep only has 26'000 miles. So it could be a balancing issue.

How is the wear pattern on those tires? It could also be d/t uneven wear.

Wear is good. I rotate every 5'000 miles.

Check your toe, too much toe-in will cause DW. This I know from personal experience.

If you have any movement in the track bar bushing that would be my first thing to correct it should show no movement. The track bar is most likely the cause.
