Default Death wobble ?

Ok so while deployed I had my wife take my 07 Jk unlimited to a shop to haven PR44 installed with rcv shafts, pro steer ball joints and EVO drag link flip kit. Also put ATX slab bead locks on it and Nitto mud grapplers. Now the wife went to pick it up and drove home at speeds up to 65 with no issues and when she got close to home doing 25 the death wobble started real bad. The off road shop said that it will do that with new ball joints and not having the steering stabilizer on it. They said once I put the stabilizer back on it should be fine. Can someone give me their advice on it. We had this issue when we installed the old lift and it ended up being the track bar bolt hole on the frame side being oblong so we had to weld a grade 8 washer over the hole to make it round again.

In no way, shape, or form should new ball joints make this happen. A steering stabilizer is not the answer. Something is certainly wrong and I would suggest you take it back and ask them to double check everything.

Sounds like they knew it cause they must have test drove it and they don't know where they messed up so they are trying to blame something else or hope you will just fix it yourself

I agree with^^^ I bet they were hoping you would put a steering stabilizer on to cover up the wobble caused by something they did.

Track bar and track bar mounts. Get a JKS adjustable track bar, and have someone put new eye mounts, heavy steel, where the existing one are and torque and adjust as needed. Had the same problem. Bad shocks and heavy tires will cause the wobble as well as other small things. If your tires are out of round or chopped up it can be the cause too. Or just torque the hell out of the bolts you have attaching the track bar now. This is all from experience. Oh, and mine is an 07 with 4" lift n 35's.
Ide start there.

I always get a laugh when a shop tells you DW is because of an SS. Go back and have them fix it, then tell them there are many of us that don't run SS's and have never had DW. BTW, thank you for your service.

Sucks to have DW on your new equipment.

Have u looked to see anything obvious that might be causing the wobble?

Well I went ahead and ordered a new JKS adj track at from David at Northridge. Then I am going to take the tres in and have them balanced with the beads instead of weights. And of course make sure all bolts are torqued to specs.

Track bars are notorious for DW. It's a good call. Was there anything on your current TB that made you think this is the culprit, or are you just going by the fact it frequently is an issue, and just wanted an adjustable? (lol)

agree with others - before you do change or do anything to it, return It to the shop and have them fix it or identify what the real issue is. Once you change anything I'm willing to bet they'll blame it on your changes, no way they didn't know about it and shame on them for letting it go in that condition. What would the outcome had been if that happened to her on a crowded road at higher speed?

It shouldn't have any DW if they did everything properly and a SS is not the fix. After I installed my 3.5" lift I ran it without a SS to get new 35's put on and then test drove it for awhile after - never once did I have any shake or wobble.
