Default Death Wobble Help!!!

Ok so after doing a TF 2.5 coil lift I got the DW. It only happens when I am going above 60mph and hit a bump, usualy while going around a turn but not always. I took it to my mechanic to look over my work and the suspension and he did most of the suggested trouble shooting meausres listed in planman's thread, and he found no problems.

So I still have the DW and it scares the shit out of me to drive on the highway. I seem to have a strong front to back rock going down the highway before the DW happens. I can sense it coming on its not full blown right away it builds up as I go down the road. Once I drop below 40mph it stops and I can keep going. Any thoughts of what else it could be?

P.S. I am also running my stock tires that have abouy 1/4 inch of tread left. I will hopefully be switching them out for 285/75/17 next week if my new nittos ever show up.

something is loose. You need to tighten everything to the torque specs that came with your lift kit, not stock torque specs. Check your control arms, loosen them while they are on the ground and then retorque. Do the same thing with your track bar. All this must be done on the ground. Also, check your shocks. The stock shocks suck and I noticed this when I had to use a stocker for a while, At 60 mph, I would get a bad oscillation that felt similar to DW but definitely was not. Once I replaced it , the oscillation went away.

Checked there... Planman gave me the advice to swap out my tires for the new ones. Hopefully some fresh rubber will help.

I am willing to bet money that the cause of this is wallowed out track bar holes on either the axle side, the frame side or both.
