I recently purchased an 08 X auto from the dealership I work at( I work at a chevy dealership and traded my ext cab Z71 for a jeep..lol) anyways, it's time to modify. I want to stay with 33s since this will be a dd and sometimes a trip vehicle. I want a better response from my jeep, more power, better acceleration and its seems the best way to do this is regear. Keep in mind i'm staying with 33x12.50 but want to get away from the 3.73's, so 4.88 or 5.13?s I've read countless agruements about this but it always has to do with 35s...i'm staying with 33s..has anyone run a setup like this?

There are some faq's stickied to the top of this modified area. In the Drivetrain section is a great rpm chart. Use the actual 'measured' tire height, not 33". 2400-2600 @ 70mph is a decent place for the auto to be.

Beyond that, look at a Flashpaq for the re-cal and a tune. And then look into a Sprint Booster.
