How many miles were on your original ball joints? Did you go with aftermarket new ones or OEM and how many miles did they last? Sorry for the questions but I feel like a lot of people including myself would like to know because stock balljoints on the JK are crap so eventually we may all have to go through this. Thanks

A little under 25k on the stock ball joints. I'm not sure what they were replaced with. I couldn't figure out the death wobble issue, so I took it to a reputable Jeep builder and he did the work. I still have to call him about it as the ones he put in really only lasted about a month and a half, although that includes a pretty narly Rubicon run, so I can't really fault his work lol.

Good to know that you found the problem and had it repaired. Sorry about the new one already being shot, that sucks !

The OEM ball joints are junk. Replacements from the dealerships only have a 2000 mile warranty, that should tell you the quality. It just blows my mind that Jeep uses these.
I went with the Dynotracs and although they're expensive, I feel I'm money ahead in the long run.
