Default Decisions...

So I'm ready to pull the trigger on a new lift and really would like to benefit from the experience and wisdom of everyone else. I've got a few kits and I was wondering if you guys could comment on any additional parts to these lifts I'd want for driveability, comfort and function off road - as well as give your vote on which to go with! Thanks!

The 3" Teraflex looks to have everything I'll need except a front track bar (unless I use the rear up front, is that how it's done?) and brake line extensions/relocations (do I need those?)

The Full Traction is fairly complete except for shocks. I have an RE BB now, but - correct me if I'm wrong - I think I'll want to upgrade those shocks with this kit to some Bilsteins... Anything else this kit would need?

Another TF 3", but without much additional parts... I suppose that gives me the opportunity to make a Frankenlift out of better parts that I'd need to add in...

I'll be running whichever kit for a while and want to do it right the first time. These are all within my budget I think... I want the most bang for my buck and will pay a bit more for it, but can't afford tooooo much. I run 35s and this is a DD, with some good wheeling in on the side. I ask for advice here from anyone that gained experience from wishing they had done something different, used a different lift with different parts, added this, didn't waste money on that... - all of that stuff. Thanks everyone!

I bought a 4" Teraflex with the 8 pc control arms. Its the best money i've spent. Go ahead and buy a good lift the first time unlike me. This is my second lift because I was not satisfied with the first one.
I paid $1800 for the whole kit. You can't go wrong with a Tearflex.

Check out the OME 3" long travel that Northridge has. I just got mine in the mail and can't wait to get it on. You won't need to upgrade anything later. It is a Frankenkit that will work out of the box.

Hmmm, both of those sound good... I was planning to do a 2.5"-3" plus a 1" BL, but with only $1800 for a whole 4" kit... and that OME kit sounds great too, I'll check it out if it'd got everything! Thanks guys.

Also I meant to tell you on the 4" teraflex you will have to get driveshafts eventually because it actually measures out at 5" of lift. So if your trying not to spend to much go with the 3" TF,it measures out at 4" when installed. You'll always get a litle more with the Teraflex lifts.

take a look at Rock Krawler kits. I found them to be complete, exspecially their long arm kids with extras such as shock relocation brackets, spring retainers, spring wedges, adustable front and rear track bars, relocation brackets, upper and lower control arms all around. Link to their site in my sig.

I would look at the Teraflex 3" with full flex arm kit. It will give you 4" of lift and you can hold off on drive shafts for now. I have the 4" Teraflex and it is a top notch kit. But it gave me 5" of lift.

I've been looking at the Rock Krawler kits too, they do seem to be pretty complete for sure, and they're still in my consideration.

For the Flex TF 3" lift, are the "FlexArms" control arms? And what about brake line relocation, would I just have to take care of that myself?

Ok I'm assuming FlexArms are control arms... would it be better to get the 3" TF kit with shocks and control arms, or the 3" w/o shocks or arms and get some Bilsteins and JKS LCAs?
