Defective AEV Procal??
I just put 35 Nitto trail grapps on my 2012 JKUR yesterday. Before driving I measured the loaded diameter (measured 34.25 diameter of the tire and inputed my measurements in a brand new AEV procal. The horn beeped two times and I disconnected the procal. After driving, I learned the speedo is reading too slow by 5-6 mph, seemed to hold gears before shifting (auto trans), and fuel mpg readout was horrendous....13mpg at 65-70 mph (4.10s). I figured 15-16 at that speed seems to be the consensus of the forum. So I figured I measured wrong (I did) and got a new measurement of 33.75". I grab the procal and adjust the dip switches accordingly. Nothing. Made sure the switches were correct and again nothing. Tried about 6 times. Also tried to adjust TPMS and cant get it to beep twice with that either. Even started jeep and tried the fast idle option....nothing. Of course Quadratec (where I bought it from) and AEV are closed for holiday so Im turning to the forum for suggestions. Thanks

You might have to set everything back to stock settings and then try again to reprogram. My Duratracs measured like 34.5 Iset Procal for 35" and speedo was spot on .
It can be a little tricky, just make sure the little dip switches are pushed all the way up or down.

Ok. I think I may have figured something out. I finally saw after plugging in the procal the check engine light flash in a sequence of 6 pause 4. On aev's website this sequence is an error for a "unimplemented feature.....check dip switch setting". Since I know that my tire settings I need are correct on the dip switches I assume something inside the unit is not recognizing when I move the switches. Everything is adding up to a defective module. If anyone else can add anything further, please do so.

I have read reports of at least a couple of times people have mixed the dip switch positions up ie they have put the up ones down and down ones up which apparently causes issues. Probably not the case here but never know.
Im pretty sure its for 2012. I read that aev doesnt put 2012 ready sticker on box anymore and I bought it from Quadratec and I assume they are on the ball with that stuff.
Also, I know my dip switches are oriented correctly. It worked during my first time trying to calibrate tire size. I got the two beep confirmation. Hasnt worked since.
