Thank you for the kudos .

i am very glad that helped someone!

Edit: When i looked at the factory parts fiche, it clearly says the Fog lamps are 50W (i double checked myself to be sure) but i could have sworn they where 45W(and still do), but the Owners manual just gives the bulb style number 9145.... and even more parts of my brain are remebering they where some weird # like 42W? Ugh. i need better info.

When you turn you OEM fog switch, the voltage is sent to the Delta relay, triggers, and let's the electrons flow to your Delta fogs

I wired mine up tonight...worked perfectly. Happy had a schematic of the wiring...basically pretty straightforward.

My Delta's, though supposedly direct OEM replacements, needed some minor mod to fit corretly into my Rugged Ridge XHD bumper--the OEM fogs are supposed to pop right in. I had to remove all four metal tabs on each light, straigten, and rebend the 90's so they were longer after the bend ( shortened the tabs in other words.) I pulled a tab, placed it over the bumper mounting bolt and marked it through the front of the fog light hole--quick bend at the new mark and it was good as new

This was the schematic Happy Curmudgeon had posted previously (good stuff):
You cannot do that if you ain't got the switch on the stalk to begin with. LOL But yes, that's a good write up. Thanks for posting it, and thank you Happy, for the original write up. The switch is really kinda unimportant in that circuit. I mean, it doesn't have to be a heavy amperage switch. The relay takes all the heat.....pun intended. lol

Your right, it wont work that way if you dont have the factory stalk switch.
But you can just install the switch from the kit, and run the power lead to the switch from say... the marker lights? It isnt a heavy draw as you said, just enough to trip the relay. It all kinda depends on where you are starting out from.

I did mine with the idea that i may be trading it in, so i didnt want to cut wires, and wanted my mods to be easily removable. I have since decided to keep what i have, and just upgrade it as I go.

But still, as far as the electrical, i have cut no wires, removed no plugs etc. it is all factory original, other than a few taps off the battery.
