I just bought a set of Riddlers from Northridge a few weeks ago. Dave has been running a deal for both covers + two lube lockers shipped for $219. That was a good enough deal for me. I was glad they came unfinished so I could paint them the way I wanted (Red with the logo painted black). 3 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear, and I slapped them on last weekend. They look great.

I have the Warn half diff skids, and have hit them multiple times now, have no regrets with them at all, other than that they needed to be repainted a few times from getting scraped to hell. I would like to get the rear diff slider/skid though.

Not to hijack this thread- but seeing the pic of the TF has gotten me curious. Which diff covers allow you to simply add diff fluid until level with the fill hole (like you can on the stock cover)? I've heard that on the Riddler covers you have to measure the fluid (in pints?), if not the excess is blown out the blow tube and makes a hell of a mess!

The front, I filled till it ran out the hole.

The rear, filled to first hole, closed, then added another 1/2 qt at the top hole cause of my pinion angle, still wasn't running out the top hole though. All is well, no gear oil upchuck.

I had/have the same question, I bought two RR diff skids (although they look more like an extra piece of metal) I just wanted some extra protection and something cheap until my warranty expires. I had the mistaken belief that the cover for the rear went on the front to protect. Imagine my surprise when I got under the jeep Oh, well I guess I have a few more things to learn.

Solid covers on mine have held up great! I would still like a skid/glide plate as it seems I get hung up at the diff quite often.
