With my Dana 44 F/R and Riddler’s I put:

Front - 1.5 quarts (FSM calls for 1.35 quarts)
Rear - 2.5 quarts (FSM calls for 2.38 quarts)

When it got hot out in the summer I got a little bit of oil out the front breather, so next time I'll go with a little less in the front and add the little extrta to the rear.

I said this earlier in this thread. Maybe no one noticed it.
Whatever cover you have, whatever amount you decide to put in, the level of oil needs to be above the bottom of the axle tube so oil gets to the outer axle bearings on the rear axle, and keeps the seals wet on the front axle.
If you have a non-stock cover with a higher fill hole, make yourself a dipstick so you can see the level of oil.
Check how far the bottom of the fill hole (on a stock cover) is above the bottom of the axle tube, and shoot for that level.
