Default Diff Skids VS Diff Covers

Curious to see what opinions are on Differential Skids Vs Differential Covers. Pictures are just for showing what I mean. Brand does not matter just the first pic of each I saw

This poll sounds like a board exam

I couldn't answer, because I think all 3 are equally correct! I think a diff cover is better though because they (in general) are lower profile/more clearance with track bars etc. So if you want to know which to get, my answer would be diff cover. I've got one on the way myself. A Riddler from Northridge!

I say cover for two reasons.

#1 - The less places there are for northeast road salt to gather and get trapped the better.
#2 - Potential clearance issues. You may or may not have them, Just because it fits over the cover, doesnt mean you wont have issues with other linkage.

Given the general pricing, i opted for the full covers. Not a whole lot different.

well I'm gonna say OX covers... preferably with the locker (I know they sell just the covers)
I've got them front and rear on my CJ and for the LITTLE weenie D30 the cover is 16 POUNDS!!!! the rear AMC 20 is even MORE.

NOW I'm NOT entierly sure what apps they have, but I'm sutably impressed with mine so far

I have the Rugged Ridge guards and they were a good deal. I feel that they will hold up just fine.
