Default Difference between new Wheels offset???

Question for the offset experts?

I have a chance to buy Ballistic Jester wheels at a good price since the 17" have been discontinued.

I have Blackrock Vipers with a 4.5 backspace and an offset of 0mm.
Tires are 32 x 11 x 17.

Will be going with 33 x 11.5 x 17 and the Ballistic are 4.5 backspace and a -12mm offset.
how much more will this setup stick out?

Offset and backspacing are essentially two different ways of getting the same measurement. Offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel and back spacing is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the inside lip of the wheel so sounds like your first wheel is 9" wide. Your second wheel sounds like its 10" wide.

I would double check to make sure that your selected tire is rated to work on a 10" wide wheel but to answer how far it will stick out, just use the back spacing so since both have the same, the new set up will stick out an additional .5"

Just picked up some "level8, guardians" two options. Both 16x8.5 5-127, one -6 offset one 18 offset. Both 4.51 backspacing. How can they have the same width and backspacing and different offsets?

If the wheels are the same width with different offset they cannot have the same BS. I would measure the BS with a 2x4 and tape measure.
