I am running 37 Nitto trail grapplers with rock krawler 3.5 max travel kit. I added two stainless 3/8 lock washers on my steering stops and lost very minimal steering and absolutely no rubbing. When I tell you I tested it I did full lock and compression of spring. Like I said many have their own opinions as I do but from the responses this may help you more since you already have the wheels. Mine is also a daily driver.
That's good to know. Thanks! I'm actually subscribed to your thread and love your jeep. Would you happen to have any pictures of the Savegres on now that you put them back on the jeep?

In my opinion, spacers just as add one more thing for you to worry about for the life of your jeep. Make your life simpler and get new wheels.

I would not run a wheel spacer, however wheel adapters if properly install are perfectly fine with 37" tires and really require no maintenance beyond checking torque. Just expect extra stress on ball joints and unit bearings with either wider wheels or adapters.

New info? Or are you referring to earlier post about using washers on steering stops to take care of it?

Not sure I'm following. Are you referring to an adaptor to convert lug patterns? Or are you referring to an Spidertrax spacer as an adaptor. Sorry for my confusion just trying to get clarification.
