Hmm .... well it was rubicon express that actually called him. I am going to call them in the morning I think, just to double check.

Could be a good idea. I know Burnsville Offroad, a sponsor here, was running stock driveshafts on some of there Hemi powered JK's with that lift on with no problems. I called them before I put my lift on and that's what they told me. Maybe give them a call tomorrow to see if anything has changed for them.
Offroad Evolution may know a thing or two about this as well. I am no "expert."

I know that in the instruction from Rubicon Express they say you need to replace the drive shafts. I am sure on the 4 door you would be fine for a while, but it is just a matter of time before they will need to be replaced.
Hey jkgirl08, I tend to agree with Piginajeep and what your shop is saying especially if you intend to go wheeling. I'm running factory drive lines on my JK with 4" of lift and 37's now and can tell you that while it does kind of work, you'd be better off with a new set of shafts. If you have an auto and pull your auto skid plate, you will still most likely ruin your front drive shaft boot as it makes contact with your exhaust crossover when flexing. Plus, at this height, your rear shaft will be at a steeper angle and this will cause your CV boots to wear out prematurely. Need I say, I think your shop is just looking out for your best interest and not trying to screw you in the least.
You can always do it at a later time if you don't want to, or can't afford to do it all at once. I know that tehre are lots of people that tend to do this towards the end of priority list when upgrading.
