Default Double Universal Rear Driveshaft

I'm about to replace the rear ds and I'm getting mixed reports on whats best. Keeping in mind the 2 schools of thought, one's to build everything up as strong as possible, the other is to strategically build weak points. We could go 1310 joints and carry extra, assuming if a driveline failure occurred it would be a U-joint, which are relatively easy to replace (compared to a ring/pinion/axle shaft). Or go 1350, which is stonger and seems to be the norm. However I've heard 1350's don't flex enough... More than a few people have recommended 1330's which I haven't heard much talk of on here but seems to be a good compromise. Whadya think..anyone who flex's their 1350's I'd love to hear from ya..personal experience speaks wonders. Thanks

I go with your first school of thought - I think 1310s are fine unless you're doing insane stuff, and 1310 ujoints are easy to replace and don't bind as much as a 1350 shaft.

Thanks for the reply haha, popular thread huh.. ya I just placed an order for 1310's. The guy I was talking to said he could use 1350's at the t-case but still had to use 1310's at the diff for some reason. Either way now I'll have 1310's all around and just get a spare.
