Does anyone know if it's possible to mount 15" wheels (with 33" tires) on an '07 Sahara that currently has stock 18s on it? I've been told by every tire place around here that it's not possible. (wouldn't work with the calibers, cause problems, warranty, blah blah)

I really want to get rid of the stock 18s but not sure what my options are.

 

There are some 15s that will work others will not. 16 is pretty much guaranteed. There is nothing special about a Sahara with 18s. It is the same as every other Jeep built that year in terms of what wheels will fit.

The breaks will rub the inside of the 15s that don't work.

A: Most steel ones will fit without any problems and depending on the thickness of the wheel most aluminum ones will as well. The only thing you really need to make sure is that the wheel clears the brake calipers.

yep, agree with all the above, some steel wheels will have to use a 1/4 in spacer in the front. found that out when i bolted on rock crawlers, only had issue in the front.

15s will open up a large selection of tires sizes.

 

I agree with the statements above. I have 15x10 soft 8's on my sahara and have no problems, must be one of the lucky ones!
