Did you end up using a pickle fork or puller? Like I said earlier, I used a pickle fork and mine was a real pain!

I used a pickle fork with no results
The rod end in the spindle came out with a couple of hits to the top of the bolt
But the pitman rod end took me a couple of hours of pickle forking with no results and finally got smart, I turned the pitman arm toward driver side and sat the p fork on top and was finally able to get a few whacks on the top of the bolt and it came free
