Default Draining the coolant

is there a drain plug or do i have to disconnect the lower radiator hose and drain it?

The radiator drain plug is located on the front lower right side.

There's a coolant drain plug on the left rear side of the block, but I haven't tried it.

is that the passenger side or driver side? what does it look like? allen wrench or socket wrench?

Drivers. I believe it's a 3/8" socket (square) drive. Can't get to it easily. It's just above the manifold and there's a ton of other crap in the way.
