I've run the Coast shafts in the past, custom DS and now Adams. have to say I'm impressed with the quality and customer service of the Adams DS!

No one runs Tatton? I ordered a Tatton front last week and am waiting on it to arrive, surprised no one is using one they seem competitively priced...

on the Adams, maybe, maybe not. Depends on the options you go with. The slip joint has a zerk to grease with each oil change. Otherwise, depending on your options, you may have sealed ujoints that you don't grease. Pros/cons to both.

I went non-greaseable. My reason? Low maintenance. The bad? Only last 50k miles or so then I'll have to replace the ujoints. Greaseable are supposed to last longer, especially if you go offroad a lot.

Adams only use neapco or spicer joints so GOOD quality.

Reel and Coast use neapco or spicer too.
Tom Woods uses a cheap brand that have shown to fail; however, you can pay more for a neapco/spicer joint.

Tom Woods, Reel, and coast were more than Adams when I bought mine.

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

All aftermarket DS I've run required servicing but it's super easy not hard at all. A good rule of thumb is to do it after doing water crossings or mud after getting it all cleaned up. Also, it's a good idea to have any aftermarket DS check for balancing periodically. Used to do it every 12-18mos at a cost of about $60 at a local driveline shop.

I been running a Tatton in the front for 2 years now and I have had no problem with it at all. I Just order a rear one from them to go with My new lift. It comes with the yokes too.
