Default Driveline vibes...

I have some vibration that can be felt in the floor boards, gas pedal, seats, you name it. They occur from about 40 mph on up to 60 or so. My VIN shows that the torque converter shudder TSB does not apply, (it is an auto) and that my flash is current. The tech at the dealership says it is a driveline vibration, but offers no solutions. It did get worse when I installed the Teraflex 2.5" BB with adapters. I haven't had the alignment checked yet, but it tracks as true as it used to. I did center the steering wheel after the lift. No ESP issues.

Any ideas? Anyone else notice any vibes after a BB install?

What tires/wheels are you running? Has the vibration existed since it was knew?

Stock Rubicon tires and wheels. I didn't notice the vibes until I had 1500 miles or so on it. They were very slight at first. Now they are a lot more noticeable.

you may have thrown a DS weight. pull your rear drive shaft (if you need to keep it as a DD) and bring it in.

If the vibration comes in and out at a certain speed then it is a harmonic imbalance. If the vibration is felt in the seat of your pants and not as much on the steering wheel then I would look at the rear first. Check the tires for irregular wear, cupping etc. An easy check is to rotate the tires, front to rear. (both sides) Test drive the vehicle and see if the vibration changes. If it does change then the tires and balance are the guilty culprit. If the vibration does not change it is time to look at the drive shafts. I would however, check your lift again. Make sure that everything is set properly.
I do not know how everybody feels about this however, you could pull the rear drive shaft and take a test drive. You will have to put it into 4wd high to get the front to pull you. If you still have the same vibration, it is not the rear shaft. Now you will have to look to the front shaft.
