Default Driveshaft help.

Ok so i know there are a ton of driveshaft threads but i couldnt find the right answers. About my rig. 2010 2 dr rubicon. I installed a 2.5" spacer at the front 2" at the back. I have longer sway links at rear, stock rear at front. I wheel a good bit. I dont want to damage the driveshaft. Do i need to replace it with this lift set up before i damage it. Also i have 2.5" springs i could swap out with spacers and rubi springs for safety reasons. Also it is an auto.

You don't HAVE to replace it. I'd just wheel it until you break it then replace with an aftermarket one. That's my plan. Just wheel until I break something then upgrade!

The torn boot comes from offroad flexing right, everyday daily driving won't do much

If you dont disconnect your front links, you are good to go. Dont need to change your drive shaft.

Yep, the torn boot happens when you flex the pass side up or the drivers side down, usually with the sway bar disco'd. You should be fine if you're not wheeling hard.

You should'nt have an issue. Just know when it does break. It can not be fixed, and your not driving it home.

I broke my front shaft after getting stuck in the snow this year. Stock height. I don't think that you will have a problem, but I would disagree with the guy who said just drive it till you break it. I was spinning when mine broke and the front half smacked into my tranny and put a hole in the bell housing...expensive, annoying, and outrageously frustrating. For the price of my repair, and I got away pretty easy on the price, you could upgrade both shafts and not worry about it. The problem is the slip yokes
