driveshaft help!!
Hey guys i got new driveshafts front and rear from coast and i cant get the stock rear to come off of the rear end.....I've hit it with a punch and hammer in the non threaded holes and nada.. I need your help!!!! Lol
I ended up using a a gear puller (I think thats what its called). You need to be careful and ensure that the teeth are equal on all three sides. Then I used an old large socket as a base plate for the center screw. The teeth kept slipping so I ended up using a ratchet strap to keep the teeth from slipping. This technique worked for me but it was very slow going and required a lot of breaks.
