Default Driveshaft for a lift...

I am thinking about getting a 3" to 3.5" lift for my 2 door 2012 Rubi. I had a 2008 and @ a 3" lift and when I put a bit more lift via a small spacer I had the rear shaft go on me. I put a new shaft on it and all was fine, what I am asking of those of you out there that know can anything be done to the existing shaft to make it worthy of such a lift or do I have to buy a new shaft?
Thanks for the help...

On a 2dr with that height of lift you will need front and rear shafts. The angle is to steel for stockers. On a 4dr the angle is much less.
