In addition to the factory fog lights. I have 2 pair of Hella 500s mounted on my Shrockworks mid with. I have a pair of 100w driving lights mounted on top of the winch loop and another set of fog lights mounted on the bumper itself, pointed down and slightly outward. This set up puts out plenty of light but I could always use more lights! The Hells are a great value, they are about $80 for a pair of lights, with bulbs and the wiring harness.

Great looking setup and Jeep!
I love the Rubicon rims, none better looking.

Thanks, man. I like the Rubi wheels too, wish they were BLACK, though. If I powder coat them flat black, they would be perfect!

(i also have rally 800's on the window mounts for those times when i need to see a Looooong ways down the road)

Hey, I was checking out your gallery and liked your schematic on wiring in your fogs w/ the stock fog light switch on the stalk. My question is...how hard is it to find the factory wire you need to connect the green wire to? The rest seems pretty straightforward like a typical KC install (I have the long range on the MOPAR windshield mounts). Any way to use the factory leads that go out to the bumper? Maybe cut off the female (or male) end that connects to the factory fogs and just plug them in by splicing in the KCs? Does this even make sense?

THe wire i connected to is actually one of the two on the passenger side fog light socket. So very easy to find. My bulbs where blown, so I snipped off the bulb from it's base and metered the leads to get the hot one. Then i simply connected the green wire to the hot one & trimmed the other one off so I wouldnt get a short. Then filled/sealed it with silicone, that way i just plugged the modified light bulb base into the factory socket, and never spliced any wires at all.

Sweet...thanks for the info! That should make connection a snap. I assume you did this for each side (i.e. each fog light)...or I guess there is only green wire if I recall correctly - this would only need to be done on one side or the other. Sorry...I'm just being too lazy to get up and go outside and look. I like your setup...but I have a winch where your inner lights are...I need to look into finding a way to attach a couple to the top of the winch loop.

Nice setup...how did you attach your lights to the winch loop? I have the stubby version and would like to put a couple more on the bumper.

No, i didnt do it on both sides, just the one as you suspected. The driver's side one i just cut the bulb off and used it as a plug.

There is a clamp that will fit over the bar that you can mount the lamps onto, above or below the bar. Take a look at N2Rock's profile & pictures, i found that somewhere online but i cant seem to find the link, but he might have it handy. Some people drill the bar, but that isnt going to happen on mine. When i get the $ for a winch, i will get those clamps for the lights.

I put on the PIAA 520 ATP pattern. they go out further than the high beams, but have a really nice spread. when mounted to the center hoop, they are kinda close together so I have them kicked out a little. Eventually I am going to add long range on the wind sheild and fogs on the outer tabs on the bumper
