Has anyone tied converting the swing-away style tailgate to a drop down style.? I imagine you would have to have an aftermarket tire carrier that swings away and then change the hinges to the bottom form the side.
Then you could longer stuff sit back there when you are parked carry dirt bikes etc. Anyone who has ever had a truck knows the value of a drop down tailgate?

Any thoughts ? I have moving stuff all week in my jeep and now I have to get tall book cases in the thing .
